Brownies introduces girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun. Girls go along to camps, holidays, day trips and sleepovers. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, explore other cultures and have outdoor adventures. As well as trying activities in their meetings, girls choose from interest badges related to things they want to know more about. Being a Brownie is all about fun, friendship and adventure. Baby and Toddler Groupπ Monday, Thursday β° 9:45 AM - 11:45 AM π· Β£3Spencerβs Wood baby and toddler group offer a twice weekly free play session for all preschool age children accompanied by parents or carers. Everyone is welcome. We are run by a group of volunteers and are a not-for-profit group. We are open Mondays and Thursdays 09:45 β 11:45 during term time, except bank holidays. You do not need to book a place; itβs a drop-in session. You can turn up any time but if you want to take part in snack time, please arrive before 10.25. We organise a craft activity each week. Cost is Β£3 (cash only) per session per family (1 adult and up to 3 children). If you want to bring an extra adult, or child, it's an extra 50p per person. We have a wide range of toys and activities, and we offer a varied selection each week. Help with setting up, snack time and tidying away is always appreciated. We hope to meet you soon.

If you are interested in having a lot of fun in a friendly atmosphere and playing a few games of social badminton, why not come along one Thursday night and try it out? We blend traditional and modern martial arts approaches to develop physical abilities, self-defence capabilities and mental resilience. Weβre a family-friendly club, balancing fun, fitness, self-defence and personal development. Our instructor has over 30 yearsβ martial arts experience, first aid training, DBS-checks and full insurance. If you decide to stay with us after your free lesson, costs are Β£4.50 per session (pay-as-you-go) with an annual fee of Β£25 to cover membership costs and insurance. Repair Cafeπ 1st Sunday of month β° 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM π· FreeSpencers Wood Repair Cafe is a friendly group of expert volunteers that run a session once a month at the Village Hall, open the first Sunday of the month from 10 am to 1 pm. We will try to repair any household items that may otherwise be destined for landfill. Our ethos is very much reduce, reuse, recycle and our volunteers are happy to share their skills. We do not charge for our service, but very much appreciate donations. Donations go towards out-of-pocket costs to our volunteers and Spencers Wood Village Hall, a registered charity.
