  Age Range: 7-10 Brownies is about trying new things that teach girls aged 7 to 10 about themselves, their community and their world. Brownies introduces girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun. Girls go along to camps, holidays, day trips and sleepovers. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, explore other cultures and have outdoor adventures. As well as trying activities in their meetings, girls choose from interest badges related to things they want to know more about. Being a Brownie is all about fun, friendship and adventure.   Baby and Toddler Group

  We are a non profit making group, run by everyone who attends the group. We are open Mondays and Thursdays 09:45 – 11:45 all year, except bank holidays. All parents and carers of pre school children are welcome to attend with their children. You do not need to book a place, you can turn up any time. We organise a craft activity each week. Cost is £3 per session for 1 adult and up to 3 children. If you want to bring an extra adult, or child, it's an extra £1. Toys are set up, put away and cleaned by volunteers. Please help clear up at the end of the session.

  This long-established club welcomes new members. If you are interested in having a lot of fun in a friendly social atmosphere, and playing a few games of badminton, why not come along one Thursday night and try it out! Spencers Wood Badminton Club has been playing at the Village Hall since the mid 1960's. It was founded by a group of enthusiasts and has met at the Hall from then until the present time. In the early days both league and friendly matches were played and the team once reached the heady heights of League 4! Like other village hall clubs, the badminton club has carried on and adapted to suit the times. Nowadays the club has members of all ages and abilities. Although it no longer plays matches against other clubs, its members have a lot of fun playing each other in a friendly, social atmosphere. If you are interested in joining the club please get in touch or just come along.

  Spencers Wood Repair Cafe is a friendly group of expert volunteers that run a session once a month at the Village Hall, open the first Sunday of the month from 10 am to 1 pm. We will try to repair any household items that may otherwise be destined for landfill. Our ethos is very much reduce, reuse, recycle and our volunteers are happy to share their skills. We do not charge for our service, but very much appreciate donations. Donations go towards out-of-pocket costs to our volunteers and Spencers Wood Village Hall, a registered charity.
